I work as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia. The research areas that I find exciting are: Political Economy, Development and Organizational Economics (Google scholar).

I completed a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics. Before that I have worked as a Pakistan Administrative Services bureaucrat in Pakistan. ​
